Teacher / Trainer Courses (Next starts on 06/07/17)

Richmond Training Associates of Warrington have for a number of years been supplying train the trainer courses. Initially the former CIEH Professional Trainer Certificates, then PTLLS and RLSS UK Lifesaving Trainer Assessor Awards.  We now predominately very successfully supply teacher training courses via the Level 3 Award in Education and Training, formally known as PTLLS.  We have until recently been delivering these via the CIEH, but as they have surrendered their Awarding Organisation status to Ofqual change is required.  We have therefore decided to use the AoFAQ instead and with who we have a long relationship with as a “Registered Centre”.

The AOFAQ Award in Education and Training is set at Level 3 candidates ideally need to have Level 2 ability in English and Maths and must be 19 years +. The award is ideal for teachers and company trainers entering further education teaching.

RTA deliver the award over 4 days split over two weeks to make time management when preparing your micro-teach more manageable.

The AoFAQ Level 3 Award in Education and Training comprises of 3 Units:

1.  Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training.  (Assessed by a 1200 word written assignment).

2.  Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training.  (Assessed by preparing and delivering a micro-teach, conducting peer assessments, self-evaluation and a 1200 word written assignment).

3. Understanding assessment in education and training. (Assessed by a 1200 word written assignment).

RTA can also deliver  this award on-site for businesses you would just need four delegates ask for a quote.
